Everyone knows the saying you are what you eat. So for a couple of years, I was a double quarter pounder with cheese and a large root beer.
But it’s true.
The healthier your food is, the healthier you are.
So what kinds of foods help/boost/increase belly fat loss? There are plenty. Here are three general outlines to get you started.
You saw this one coming, right?
Every diet pushes for more salad consumption. Most diets make me feel like lettuce is coming out of my ears.
But really, how many fat vegetarians do you see? None.
So should you be a vegetarian? God bless you if you do.
I’m sure it’s a wonderful lifestyle, but it also looks really boring. Besides, I love meat too much and I’m sure you do too.
But increasing you fruit and vegetable intake is a great start.
They have fewer calories and more important nutrients than, say, a double quarter pounder with cheese. Plus, they make you feel full longer, which means less eating.
And to burn belly fat, less is more.
That’s a new one, huh? But really, what in nature is blue? Blueberries? They’re more purple.
Nothing is naturally blue. So why do you eat food that is bright blue?
It’s artificial, and that’s not healthy.
Another color to avoid is white. Not so much in dairy foods, but as in refined foods, such as flour, sugar, and rice.
Wheat bread is 100x better for you.
And once you break the sugar habit, you find it to be too sweet eventually. Brown rice is packed full of the nutrients white rice is sadly lacking. Theses refined foods are all empty calories, having little in the way of fiber or nutrients, and in the case of sugar, are practically designed to add weight to your belly.
And finally, stay away from diet food. Wait, what?
No, really.
These foods are targeting you because they know that a box of 100 calorie snack packs will probably be consumed at a rate more than one pack at a time. And then they charge you more for it.
No, diet foods will not help you. You need to break the habit of eating foods that taste like junk food.
These substitutes are not healthier than the full calorie version, and they keep you addicted. Switch to an actual healthy food.
You’ll thank me later.
